Terms governing your use of the FollowTo platform. Last updated: May 2026.

By accessing or using FollowTo (followto.io), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). FollowTo is operated by Mantra Solventure. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: The FollowTo website, dashboard, API, and all associated services at followto.io.
  • Organizer: A user who creates communities and events on FollowTo.
  • Attendee: A person who RSVPs to an event hosted on FollowTo.
  • Community: A public profile page on FollowTo, created by an organizer, where events and followers are listed.
  • RSVP: A registration for an event, submitted through a FollowTo event page.
  • Discovery pages: Public Events and Communities browse pages where visitors can explore by city or area.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@followto.io of any unauthorized access.

3. Organizer responsibilities

As an organizer, you are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of your community and event information, including dates, venues, capacity, and ticket inclusions.
  • Delivering events and benefits exactly as described to attendees who register or pay.
  • Honoring your stated refund and cancellation policies and responding promptly to attendee refund requests.
  • Collecting fees only for legitimate events you intend to host; not running advance-fee scams, pyramid schemes, investment solicitations, or other misrepresentation.
  • Obtaining lawful basis for processing attendee data you collect via RSVP forms.
  • Complying with applicable laws, including data protection (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA), consumer protection, tax, and GST obligations where applicable.
  • Not using exported attendee data for purposes unrelated to your event or community.
  • Handling attendee disputes, chargebacks, and regulatory inquiries related to your communities and events.

4. Attendee data and OTP confirmation

Attendees who RSVP provide name, email, and optional fields. A 6-digit OTP is sent to confirm their RSVP. Confirmed attendees are automatically followed as members of the organizer's community. Attendees may cancel their RSVP at any time using the cancel link in their confirmation email.

5. Acceptable use

All users (organizers and attendees) may not use FollowTo to:

  • Create fraudulent events, fake listings, or collect RSVPs or fees without intent to host an event.
  • Run Ponzi, pyramid, MLM, crypto, investment, or other unauthorized financial schemes through events or communities.
  • Collect ticket or registration fees without reasonable intent or ability to deliver what was advertised.
  • Collect attendee data for resale, spam, or harassment.
  • Submit false RSVP or payment information.
  • Violate any applicable law, including data protection and privacy laws.
  • Impersonate another person, brand, charity, or organization.
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization.

We may enforce these rules by suspending accounts, removing events or communities, withholding discovery placement, terminating access, cooperating with law enforcement, and pursuing contractual remedies available under these Terms.

6. Payment processing and ticket sales

For ticketed events, FollowTo provides checkout infrastructure through PayU (and Paddle where applicable). The organizer is the seller; the contract for event attendance is between the attendee and the organizer.

  • Mantra Solventure is not a party to that contract and does not guarantee event delivery, quality, or organizer conduct.
  • FollowTo may maintain payment records to operate checkout but does not guarantee refunds for organizer misconduct unless required by law or explicitly stated on the event page.
  • Organizers must set accurate refund and payment terms on the event page where ticket sales are offered.

7. Platform not responsible for user conduct

FollowTo hosts communities and events but does not verify organizers, attendees, or the accuracy of user-generated content. Listing in discovery or enabling checkout does not mean FollowTo endorses any community, event, or user.

Mantra Solventure is not responsible for fraud, scams, non-delivery, misrepresentation, or losses caused by any user on the platform. You interact with other users at your own risk. Report suspicious activity to abuse@followto.io.

8. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mantra Solventure and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your use of FollowTo, your content, or your communications on the platform.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or unlawful conduct by you.
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
  • Your misuse of data you collect or submit through FollowTo.

If you are an Organizer, you additionally indemnify Mantra Solventure for claims arising from your communities, events, ticket sales, failure to deliver paid events or benefits, refund disputes, chargebacks, attendee complaints, and regulatory actions tied to your events.

This indemnification does not require you to indemnify Mantra Solventure for claims caused solely by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Discovery and public pages

FollowTo provides public discovery pages for events and communities. Organizers may appear in discovery results based on location, activity, and search relevance. Public community and event pages may include aggregate analytics (such as page views and sessions) visible to the organizer. Optional analytics cookies are used only with visitor consent.

10. Plan limits and billing

Plan limits (active events, RSVP caps, export) are enforced server-side and cannot be circumvented. Billing is per-community via PayU or Paddle. See our Pricing page for current rates. Paid event tickets sold through FollowTo checkout are subject to our Payout Policy.

11. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you create on FollowTo (community descriptions, event content). You grant Mantra Solventure a limited license to display, host, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the service.

12. Termination and data deletion

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may permanently delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my data permanently and forever. Deletion is processed immediately and removes your account, event registrations, community memberships, and (for organizers) all communities, events, and attendee records you control on FollowTo.

We may retain minimal billing or legal records where required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details on GDPR, DPDP, CCPA, and similar rights.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

FollowTo is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantra Solventure disclaims all warranties, including that organizers are trustworthy or that events will occur as listed.

Mantra Solventure is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Where permitted by law, our total liability for direct damages arising from your use of FollowTo is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid to Mantra Solventure in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
