This Cookie Policy explains how FollowTo (followto.io), operated by Innocode Ventures, uses cookies and similar technologies. We aim to use the minimum cookies necessary to operate the platform.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They are used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and for analytics.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies (always active)
- authjs.session-token (or
__Secure-authjs.session-tokenon HTTPS): Authentication session cookie. Set when you log in. Expires with your session or after 30 days. Required for the dashboard to function. - ptvia: Referral tracking cookie. Set when you arrive via a referral or affiliate link. Stored for up to 30 days. Used to attribute new sign-ups to the referrer for our referral programme. Does not track you across other websites.
Preference storage (localStorage)
- Theme preference: Light or dark mode stored in localStorage. Not transmitted to our servers.
- Timezone preference: Your selected timezone, stored in localStorage to display event times correctly.
Third-party cookies
- Paddle: If you complete a checkout, Paddle may set cookies for payment session management. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising/retargeting cookies.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling the session cookie will log you out and prevent you from accessing the dashboard. The referral cookie (ptvia) can be deleted at any time without affecting your ability to use FollowTo.
