This Cookie Policy explains how FollowTo (followto.io), operated by Mantra Solventure, uses cookies and similar technologies. We ask for your consent before setting optional cookies. Essential cookies are used only where needed to run the platform.

Your consent choices

When you first visit FollowTo, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can:

  • Accept all: Allow essential, preference, analytics, and referral cookies.
  • Necessary only: Allow essential cookies only. Optional cookies are not saved.
  • Customize: Choose which optional categories to allow.

Your choice is stored in the ft_cookie_consent cookie so we can remember it on future visits. You can reopen Cookie settings from the site footer at any time.

We do not set optional cookies until you accept them. If you choose necessary only or turn off a category later, we stop setting those cookies and remove existing ones where possible.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies used for preferences and temporary form state.

Essential cookies (always active)

  • authjs.session-token (or __Secure-authjs.session-token on HTTPS): Keeps you signed in to the organizer dashboard. Set when you log in. Required for authenticated features.
  • ft_cookie_consent: Stores your cookie consent choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit.

Preference cookies (optional)

Set only if you accept preferences or accept all.

  • discover_area: Remembers your selected city or area on Events and Communities discovery pages for up to 30 days.
  • pt_tz, pt_df, pt_tf: Remember your timezone and date/time display format for event listings and dashboards.
  • pt_datetime_prefs (localStorage): Stores your date and time display preferences in the browser.

Analytics cookies (optional)

Set only if you accept analytics or accept all.

  • pt_vid: Anonymous visitor ID for public community and event page analytics (up to 180 days).
  • pt_sid: Session ID for grouping page views within a visit.
  • pt_slast: Last activity timestamp used to expire analytics sessions after inactivity.
  • discover_visitor_id: Anonymous ID used to improve event and community search on the discovery pages.

These cookies help organizers see aggregate traffic on their public pages. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or advertising retargeting cookies.

Referral cookies (optional)

Set only if you accept referral attribution or accept all.

  • ftvia: Set when you arrive via a referral or affiliate link. Stored for up to 30 days to attribute new sign-ups to the referrer. Does not track you across other websites.

Session storage (temporary)

Some features use session storage (cleared when you close the browser tab) for temporary state such as RSVP cancel tokens and event creation wizard progress. This is not used for cross-site tracking.

Third-party cookies

  • PayU: If you complete checkout for a Pro or Enterprise plan or a paid event ticket, PayU may set cookies for payment session management. See PayU's Privacy Policy.

How to manage cookies

Use Cookie settings in the site footer to change your choices on FollowTo. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will log you out and prevent dashboard access.
