What is FollowTo for community organizers?
FollowTo is a community and events platform where organizers publish a permanent public community page, list events, and collect OTP-verified RSVPs without requiring attendee accounts. The Free plan includes 1 community, 3 active events, and 100 confirmed registrations per event.

When should you use RSVP vs registration on FollowTo?
Use RSVP for free meetups, workshops, and community gatherings where you only need a headcount. Use registration when you sell ticket tiers with FollowTo checkout (PayU). Both flows share the same attendee dashboard and OTP confirmation step.
- Organizers choose which fields to collect: name (required), email, phone, food preferences, and custom questions.
- Ticketed events can still require OTP before checkout completes.
How does OTP verified RSVP reduce no-shows?
After submitting your event form, the attendee receives a 6-digit code by email. Their spot stays pending until they enter the code. Organizers see pending vs confirmed counts in the event dashboard, which makes catering, venue, and volunteer planning more reliable than open Google Forms.

- Calendar invites for confirmed guests include a personal join link for online events.
How do attendees discover your events without you sharing a link?
Published events with a city or online slug can appear on FollowTo discovery at /events, filterable by city, topic, tags, and date. Communities appear at /communities. Organizers on Pro can attach up to 10 cities in one country; Enterprise supports unlimited geography across countries.

- Each event keeps an SEO-friendly public URL you can share on WhatsApp, email, or print QR codes.
What does per-community pricing mean on FollowTo?
Each community has its own plan. You can keep a side project on Free while upgrading a flagship community to Pro (3 active events, 500 registrations per event, CSV export) or Enterprise (10 active events, 1,000 registrations per event, unlimited cities). Billing is per community, not per organizer account.

How do online events work with Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams?
Connect Zoom, Google, or Microsoft Teams once under Settings → Integrations. For online or hybrid events, FollowTo can create the meeting and email each confirmed guest a personal followto.io/join link after OTP verification. Zoom webinars receive one API registrant per confirmed guest.
- Guests register only on FollowTo; standard Zoom meetings and Google Meet sessions do not require a second provider sign-up.
- If the host updates the meeting, the personal join link keeps working without resending email.
Does FollowTo have a Developer API?
Yes. Pro and Enterprise organizers create API keys in the dashboard (Settings → Developers). Use the REST API to list communities, events, registrations, and ticket sales as JSON. Documentation lives at /app/developers.
- Enterprise teams can request outbound webhooks and trusted partner sync (membership and RSVP without a second FollowTo OTP) when they integrate with newsletters, directories, or internal systems.
- Public discovery feeds for events remain at /feed/events.json without a key.
